High rpms

Default High rpms

I finally got my car started but i can get it to idle, the RPM's are way to high. Almost at rev limit. What do you guys think it is?

check vacuum lines and make sure the throttle cable is not binding.....

For sure the vacuum lines, i had same problem just mine didnt rev that high wow!

I still cant get it to go down. Im stumped, if this will help, its a 91 d15b2 block with a 98 non vtec head.

you must have vaccume lines undone, or holes in them. Check the idle screw too.

does the dpfi manifold have a idle screw? And if it does, where?

Ihad the same problem and i checked everything it ended up being my cold start valve got stuck open

Wheres the cold start valve? And how do i "unstick" it?

i dont know for sure but i never heard of a vacuum line getting your idle that high, are you sure you hooked up your throttle cable right

better check your throttlebody plate!
dam man if it starts to rev that high stick ur dam hand over the throttlebody!

and if that does not change anything u better start checkin your gaskets and seals on the IM and vaccum lines behind the TB!@
