I have this nasty clunking noise that comes from my front suspension and I was wondering if bad lower ball joints would be to blame? I get more clunkin out of my passenger side and when I did my motor swap that ball joint gave me A LOT of trouble. Both ball joint boots are tore up and prolly have no grease in them. Would this make a clunking noise?

If not what would? Im gettin a Jim fab crossmember in a week or so and was going to replace them along with the installation of my crossmember, so I was just looking to see if the joints were the culprits for the sick noise.

PS. I know its ot my CV joints making noise, I have been under my car and looked at, checked, and tightend everythigng. And they dont make noise on a smooth bump, I hear the clunking when the suspension makes a fast transaction, like if the road changes from assfault to concrete.

so replace them.

whether they're the cause of your clunking or not, replace them.

buddy you have bad lower ball joints, don't beat around the bush just change them

I was just wondering if those were the culprits. Looks like they are so I will be replacing with my new crossmember.

once you get the car all sorted out, take it to moros and see what it runs. if you go on a saturday let me know, and i'll take my car up there good luck
