Painful question.

You need a turbo (250-300 WHP) and taller gearing. Stock ITR gearing won't quite do it.

 

Hatchback with ITR swap will do 145 with intake and a header all day long

Theres no need to do it though.

Throw the LS 5th gear in, and you would have a much higher top speed (taller gearing) - but you'd be retarded to try it(going 165, that is).

Lighten up you guys. This is not anything different than most of you trying to mod your ITRs. If he said that he's going to street racing with it (which I doubted at that speed), then by all mean burn his ego down to the ground. But if he's going to a salt flat event with it, please people, help the guy out-That is if you know the answere to his question.
