How would I be able to measure my oil pressure. AfterMarket Pressure gauge? Do you think an oil change will help? And I just bought it about 3 weeks ago from a small dealership....with 94k miles on it. Now would the car run normally right now even with bad oil pressure? Becuz my car runs fine but I dont feel the power I think I should from a V-Tec..

wrong, stop giving false info

if you have a gsr

vtec kicks in at 4400 and secondarybutterflys not a 2nd stage of vtec nothing like that opens at 5750

here let me make it more simple

4400 - Vtec
5750 (according to Helms) - Secondary Butterflies (NOT VTEC, not a second stage of VTEC, nothing like that)

Since your not getting a CEL, and I'm guessing your oil level is fine. Since you have posted after 10 people told you to check your oil, it leads me to believe you don't have a GSR. If the car cuts out at 7,000 RPMs thats the fuel cutoff. Where does your redline on the tach start?

Open your hood, the valve cover should say DOHC
VTEC

I say this because you purchased the car from a used lot. It may have started life as a 95 GSR, but was stolen and replaced with a LS engine and still have the GSR guage cluster. Or you just have an LS and think it's a GSR.

In order for VTEC to work

-Car must be at operating temp
-Throttle position
-Car must be in gear and in motion
-Oil level/pressure

There is one more and I'm forgetting it Someone help me out.

????

No, obd2 is no different than obd1 in terms of vtec and secondary rpms. I don't know why your car does that and would need more info on it to do so.
