Default DC2 SRS Momo Airbag Dilemma!

Right.. Finally have one sitting here in front of me waiting for it to get fitted. Just checked the SRS clips on my old MB6 (european Civic) wheel and they share the same part number so hence they are the same. However, the SRS unit off the Momo have 2 RED wires and my one although it clips in, have a BLACK and a RED wire.. I'm tempted to give it a try.. plug it in and turn the ignition (I have a full face crash helmet, earplugs and gumshield at the ready ) But then again I don't want to waste a perfectly good airbag if it blows... What do you reckon???

Oh it does plug in with no problems! It only plugs in 1 way! But the JDM SRS unit had 2 RED wires whilst the plug from my car is RED and BLACK.. Do you guys have the same colour wires? like RED and RED? or as long as it plugs in its A'OK? I have installed the wheel anyway but haven't energised the SRS system as motor is out for rebuild, Splines fit ok, the reel fits exactly etc etc.. Looks very bling indeed but, I hope the damn thing doesn't deploy in my face when I hook up the battery!!!

Great.. i'm crapping myself now...
Would the bag deploy if the wires was the wrong way round? even if ironically the plug clips in?

Here is a pic of it installed.. no the battery is still not connected lol!

Thanks man.. bit more confident now, I was browsing through the workshop manual, the 2 wires just basically completes a circuit and there is no polarity as such
