i have a 89 honda civic hatch back and my car started all the time... just recently i went to start it and battery was goin dead.. but when i went to crank it over it went to and then went click click.. and now it just the ignition turns on and nothing else when i go to fully start it... i checked my starter and thier power going to it.. does that mean its still good or it doenst mean nothing ?? also i took off the distributor and the rotor is good but where my plugs go its all filed down and shitty... i have a predator hood where rain leaked in for months?? would that have anything to do why my car wont start?? please email me back at pimpincivic17s@yahoo.com or im me on pimpincivic17s on aim thanks once again.. im trying to get my car started on thie nice sunday

 

With the hood you have and water being able to get under where the dist. is you will have to make sure it is all dry before you expect it to work as for the plugs ifthey look shot replace them. As for the battary it may be giving power but jus not enough that should be the first thing you check. Make sure it is making at least 11 volts if not put it on a charger or autozone charges them for free or just buy a new one.
