hey wassupz, yesterday i just installed my new deck..
and when i finished my car wont start.. it cranks up normally but when i check the pressure guages it doesn't even move. When i turn the car on to start, the engine light stays on and doesn't blink to stay on or not.

i got a few question,

i havent been touching my car because i've been sick, so what i was thinking is that, could there be a shortage? i recharged the battery and had it jump'd but my car still wont start..

could it be the distributor? but how?? burnt coil?

and why does my check engine stay on the whole time from when i push my key to start, normally it comes on's and then stays on or disapear..

any help would be fine. thanks james

 

Hey, that looks like some porb with the ECM. get it checked at a dealer asap.

At first i though it might have been a battery prob, but then if yor car is cranking normally, then i don't think it's got anything to o with the battery.

if anything it sounds like it might be your timing belt. if its cranking over but not turning then its not a battery problem. i bet it just cranks and cranks. check the belt if theres any tension. it shouldnt be loose in any way. if it is, then thats your problem. if thats not it, check to see if youre getting fuel. check the plugs as well.

Does it have any trouble codes stored?

 

yeah the timing belt seems to be loose just a little bit at time
and i can NOT get it to start, i'm going to check the codes
i checked everything and every plug/etc is in.
it wont start and it's in my garage, this sucks...
i have a fpr and the guages, it seems like its not getting feul because the guages wont go up, i set it at 43psi, i have a b18b motor in it and a obd-2 to obd-1 convertor as well as a obd2 ecu.

 

could it possibly be feul pump in any way??

haha yeah i fiqured that, but my car still isnt starting right and not startng at all. cranks and cranks
