Watch the movie Karate Kid

Seriously, read the instructions on the tub. Most let dry to a haze then wipe off. To test scoot a clean rag across the metal, it should slide off.

reason im confused is cause of the movie. IN the movie i remember them doin wax on and wax off, but on the wax bottle it didnt say anything about going in a clock wise direction then counter clockwise!

Don't follow that movie.....only follow it if you don't like your car! doing circles like that will give you swirl marks. A mans worst enemy! Side to side no circles....left to right. Truct me.....people will agree!!!

okay, if you aren't supposed to go in circles than why do the wax/buffer applicators go in circles? I've been waxing my cars ever since I was able to drive. I've always gone in cirlces and no swirl marks. I used to use meguiars. I use Eagle One now. It gives it a nice wet look.

Don't use anything other than %100 cotton cloths to apply wax. When applying use a front and back motion, otherwise you will get swirl marks.

Tip, test on hood - apply one coat of wax using vertical motion, then apply second coat of wax in horzonical motion, then one more coat diagnal motion, buff in between of course - it will look great and last for months. It's a show car trick.
