Well i thought that I would share this with you guys....

Today i was leaving to go to my friends house and i got pulled over right before i got on the freeway by a city cop ... I thought i was speeding so i was like ohh **** because my insurance, I was shocked about what the police man said ?

Is this a real type R ?

i replied i hope so i just got the car like 4 months ago

and he said well i sure hope that you have a garage and a good alarm because those things are getting stolen in this area alot. Then he told me that i had a nice car and joked with me about the color (PY) and told me i asked for attention with the color car. hahah

I thanked him and went on my way in shock, happy because i didnt get a ticket and because someone seemed to care enough to stop me and tell me something that i already knew.

i guess the whole point to my story is that its getting worse for the owners of the cars day by day.....

 

That officer definitely sounds like someone who reads this forum.

 

either that or he was checking to make sure the ITR you were driving wasn't stolen. I got pulled over once because the cops thought I was driving a stolen R. Luckily they just apologized(since it was my R) and didn't write me up for speeding

 

seemed like a cool cop, wish cops around here were like that.

 

A nice cop can make anyone's bad day seem better, especially when they don't write a ticket

 

yea, but an ******* cop can make a bad day even worse.

 

He pulled you over because he was just checking to make sure it's not stolen. While you were talking to him, I bet he was glancing over your steering column to be sure it wasn't hacked up. We need more cops like this around.

 

Maybe this is the key to a new anti-theft system. We need to have stickers made that say "I'm stolen, please pull me over".

That would be one of the few situations that I wouldn't mind getting pulled over.

 

i got pulled over in bay area once for no reason. i was wondering why they pulled me over the cop came up and told me that i can go and said that there was a black integra that just got stolen and they just wanted to make sure that i wasnt the theif. i guess the bay area police know about the integras.

i got stopped a couple weeks ago by the chp and they asked me a bunch of questions and checked my vin and my engine... then they asked for my license and registration, which again i couldn't find, so they said if i don't find them i should go home... then they left

 

this is un-heard of where i come from! i know a guy once that got his R pulled over for the suspension and the suspension was stock!! cop said it was to lowered!!! lol than again you have your good and your not so good cops!

had a similar situation happen to me in my rx-7... the cop pulled me over because i was speeding.....

started talking cars,

we talked for thirty minutes about cars and how he had once had a tt 300 z that he had hooked up....

however, the douche bag still gave me a ticket
