i need to get an exhaust for my teg, but i want to know what the different exhausts sound like before i decide which one i want. i want one with a good combination of performance, sound and look. got and suggestions? please posts pics too if available. thanks.

 

civic with ls motor, got an es oval with 2.5 inch piping. It has a low, deep, sound.

comptech sport. nothing compares take my word for it. i was set on the ws but then i heard the comptech..

 

I have the 5Zigen fireball, it was good for a while, not to loud, but now its annoying and terribly loud on the highway.

DC Sports JDM ITR 4-1 Header, Carsound 94066 cat, ITR B-pipe, and Hytech twin-loop muffler. Don't mind the oil spewing.

custom 2.25" piping, no resonators, into a tsudo muffler for an is300 (does that really matter?) and it's SOOOOO much quieter than my hayame muffler I had on before. Right now, it's not too loud in the cabin, it's nice and deep. Outside, it sounds hella ricey before vtec, then it sounds better after engagement (ITR cams boyee!), but still, it's pretty ricey

 

I have a stock exhaust. My car sounds stock.

nearly silent at idle and makes all the boys look when i get on it. tehehhe.

real deep- no rasp. not to mention it looks gorgeous from behind.

I just purchased the skunk2 exhaust,

i must warn you, this is the loudest exhaust i have every heard.
The performance was a big jump as compare to my old exhaust - Tanabe super hyper medalian. I like the Tanabe for the fair performance and great tone, but for performance, the Skunk2 is by far alot better. I have CAI and 4-1 headers which makes the tone of the exhaust is a beautiful thing. At first i didnt want one this loud but, i've grown to love it.

First you have to decide your final goal of your car. What size exhaust setup will you need? Then when you decide what size you need, you can compare brands and sounds.
