Default megan racing exhaust review and bottleneck question

i just installed a megan racing stainless steel catback. 60 mm piping. fits nice, sounds beautiful. very throaty and not loud at all. im very happy with it. plus its completely ss and only about $350. not bad. ill try to get some pics and maybe a sound clip up later.

now heres the question...the exhaust is 60 mm (2.36 in) and i have a 2.5 inch test pipe and will be buying a jdm 4-1 header with the 2.5 inch collector. will the bottleneck from 2.5 to 2.36 cause a problem, or will the difference be negligible?
thanks

I have a Megan Muffler on a 2.5" hand bent pipe straight back from my cat. Sounds very good. I am happy wiht the Megan muffler, and I am trying to find a place where I can get more of their products, because I want a Megan exhaust for my next car. Any help with that?

their 2.5 inch catback had a 4.5 inch tip...that's HUGE...donut status....if they made anything smaller i'd def. be interested..

Look at Magnaflow products, they are pretty inexpensive and the quality is great. They have alot nice lookin catbacks that are used on many of the featured cars in magazines.

a year ago, people on this forum were given megan flack for making "mugen" knockoffs. its good to see people starting to consider function and price over a label.

umm...yeah, i remember that. ive always thought that was completely retarded. the megan exhaust isnt even twin loop. what exactly about them makes it a knock off, other than the fact that their names sound similar?
