Guys,
Normally on RSX-S models, the RPm revs at 5500 rpm, when roaling it goes higher.
Is there a place to send the ECU to take this Safety off, to have better performance during starts, just like a GSR 94-01 models.
thanks,
Rishi

What tires are you running? You had better be running some STICKY tires if you plan launching above 5500. I have azenzis and I am launching at 4000. But ya K pro is what you need to change that. They call it launch control. So you set it to whereyou want to launch then just floor it and let the clutch off whenever you wanna launch.

unless you're running super stickies or slicks, don't think you need to launch above 5500.
you need some kind of ecu reprogramming. either hondata reflash or kpro or if you can find something else (hehaeh good luck)

$500 - Upgrade cost for existing Hondata reflash (ECU must be sent to Hondata).
$995 - Retail pricing $995 (customers ECU must be sent to Hondata).
$1595 - New Honda ECU (PRB, PNF or PND).

But, why would you want to go past 5500 on a stand still?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Because you can turn better times at the track, think about it. Launch at 5500 rpm on the low cam out of VTEC or launch in VTEC will full power. For those who know how to get the most out of thier cars this is a must have, anyone else who does not track the car has no need for an ECU with this feature.

if you're runnig on slicks, yea u do need to launch higher than 5500. that's why the later versions of the #4 reflash remove the launch limiter. well moved it up to i think 7900 RPM's. you DON'T need to launch at fuel cutoff
