2004 Accord V6 6-speed, 13.97 @ 99mph...
Ventured to the local test and tune session to make some passes in a friend's 04' Accord just for ***** and giggles. A fully loaded EX coupe with navigation system and the only mod is a AEM V2 and some oversized slicks that originally came off my Supra (26x11.5x16 M/T's). I was impressed by the results especially considering the poor track conditions. Feedback from 7th gen owners regarding the timeslip would be appreciated.

wow, i never thought an accord v6 could run high 13s with only an intake and slicks.

The slicks are the key. You got more time from them then you did the intake, easily

Thanks for all the compliments guys. Coming from a guy that's used to high powered turbo cars, I was quite impressed with this luxo barge going that quick.

Well, I ran last night with my 03 V6 m/t and I wish I had your time. Maybe because it was my first time and had street tires on my 18" wheels at 36 psi front and 38 psi rear and my wife as passenger and a full tank? Excuses, excuses, I know

The slicks helped a great deal. Although they were way too tall for that particular application. After some street tuning with a VAFC and an exhaust, I'm confident that the car would go 13.50's @101-102 on some more conservative slicks like a 23x8x15. If I was able to pull a 1.8 60', it would be a 13.70 pass but I doubt the factory clutch will be able hold up against a 6500+ rpm clutch dump.
