Default anyone use a gt35/40r or gt40r on thier h22?

all the searching i can do talked about b16 this, b18 that, but from what I've heard between the duel bb and the new efficient design, that they spool up quicker then past turbos, yet make more power.

right now i have a Garrett 60-1 .70 ar t04s w/t3 .82 a/r. its started seeing boost about 2500 and full around 5 k. i think its limits will be around 5xx whp.

my new engine goal is 600+. thing is i don't want more lag then i have. i can deal with this amount, but no more. if anything i was hoping the duel bb and new design might help me spool a little quicker.

anyone with experience, your knowledge will be greatly app.

ive been thinking about using this turbo on the prelude i just built....

i just street tuned a car with a non bb gt35 it spooled decent on a b series and we're expecting mid 400's w/ 15-17 psi.

ball bearing might be nice though.

A GT35R can make 650whp. You won't be able to get a GT40R till next year when garrett takes it out of NPI(New Product introduction). It was supposed to be released this year but it didnt happen. I wouldnt be surprised if it isnt released till much later than next year.

One more thing, the GT40 56 trim compressor from the GT35R works sooo good on a H22 engine. On a SC61 a buddy of mine made 319whp at 9psi.

so a 35r will support 650, give or take...

are these the same turbo? http://optionimports.com/impor....html or http://store.yahoo.com/cheapturbo/gagt56tr1.html thing is the second one says to4s, i thought they were to4e?

and here is the 40r i saw http://optionimports.com/impor....html
just wondering if the lag will be greatly increased on this step up.

thanks for your help and opinions
