Default new track times

well i decided to head to the track one last time before the end of the racing season, i didnt quite meet my goal of an 11.99 on drag radials but i came pretty close, heres the slip:

60'- 1.98
330'- 5.26
1/8 mile- 7.88
1/8 mph- 94.74
1000'- 10.06
1/4 mile- 12.02
1/4 mph- 119.05

set up:
golden eagle sleeved block(83mm)
eagle rods
arais pistons(9.0:1)
stock head,cams and intake manifold
inline pro exhaust manifold
GT30R duel ball bearing turbo
3" down pipe/ 3" exhaust
precision 1000cc injectors
hondata 2bd

the cars never been to a dyno yest so i dont have any numbers, its just a conservative street tune, 15psi on pump gas. full interior drive 1.5 hours to and from the track.

heres a couple pics of the car.

12.02, very impressive!

But I have one question...
You have enough power to get into or very close to the 11's and you never tuned it on a dyno??? isn't that asking for trouble?

anyway, I'm jealous of your power

he has a wideband in the car and very conservative timing set up right now there is a lot more left in it.

it was street tuned with a wideband, 11.8 a/f and 21.75 total timeing, its pretty conservative for the bore size. i guess i should have said it hasnt been fine tuned on a dyno, we still need to clean up the a/f ratio , adjust some cam gears, and get the boost to the 25psi range where the turbo likes it on race fuel, but i'll worry about that over winter.

BFgoodrich drag radials, 225/50/15 with 12psi, the car still has traction issues in second gear. my best 60' time on these tires was a 1.96.
