Default WHAT ALL NEEDS TO BE DONE TO SWAP A F22B DOHC OBD1 ENGINE INTO A 97 OBDII Equipped accord

i used to be a member on here, but my password got changed and somehow it wont send to my email??? dunno. so i have a new name. anyway as the title was saying.
ok boys, heres the deal.
i have had a couple dif. engines in this car before, but lets not get into that.
im am back to completely STOCK f22b2 OBDII running strong.
what i want to know is: (remember i am going to run a p14 OBDI ecu with a OBDII-OBDI jumper harness)
what all am i going to have to mutilate of my stock OBDII harness to work on the OBDI F22b DOHC.
i have heard stories about the crank angle position sensor that is originally on my f22b2 but not on the DOHC f22b.
and one more thing, should i run my stock f22b2 distributer with the f22b DOHC or should i use a OBDI for the f22b DOHC???
thanks a lot for the help, im in a bind, and my mind has went blank this past few days.

-jeremy
greatly appreciated!

The DOHC F series is the F20b , not the F22

Question 1 from me.

If you stated this: <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by spooledu &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">
I KNOW ALL ABOUT THIS ENGINE</TD></TR></TABLE> then shouldnt you already know the answer to your own question?

people do make mistakes....so lets try to be a little patient. just becaue someone doesnt know that particular engine doesnt mean they cant help you....hell...TxTuner might know an *** load more about engines than you do and could have the answer to your problem....show respect for people and they will show respect for you....thats the only way youll get help/make friends on this board

anyway my ***** are bigger than all of yours

back on topic:
ok, i wasn't tryin to bitch about it, he just was making it sound stupid like i knew all about this engine.
the fact that i know all about this engine doesn't solve the ? about my problem. this goes for the same thing with swapping OBDI engines in OBDII chassis for the most part.
im simply asking what all has to be converted besides the ECU, and the OBDII-OBDI jumper harness.
i was asking like do i need to use the f22b DOHC OBDI dizzy, and do i have to rewire the crank angle pos. sensor or do i let it hang due to converting to OBDI. those are the main things i need to know.

so...does anyone have the answers to these ?'s.?

it only came in the prelude si

*i* would think that you would use the dizzy that came on the motor...as for the crank angle position sensor i dont see why that would change going from obdI to obdII, but i could be ignorant. have you tried doing a search for an obdII h22 swap into say a 5th gen? im sure the same principles would be applied. but i would honestly think that you would use the dizzy that came with the motor....

ok, i had a OBDII H22 in my car recently, and sold it, my car is OBDII from the factory.
this f22b DOHC is a OBDI engine, so i am converting to OBDI, and the crank angle pos. sensor is not on the f22b DOHC OBDI engine, are atleast not were it is on the f22b2 engine.

also, do i need to do anything with the IAB what all needs to be done with that.
one more thing.
since my car is setup with external coil, and this engine is coming with internal coil, wont my f22b2 Dizzy work or no because of it being OBDII? (does that make a difference?)
thanks a lot!
