Car studders when I shift fast from 1st-2nd.. help!? *vid
When ever I redline 1st and shift to 2nd real fast the car studders and cuts out. It will also do it if im just rolling and I rev it and drop it into a gear. I think my ecu is losing power because my AVCR which gets its power from the ECU power plug turns off and restarts. Also my AF gauge goes all the way green and stays there for like 3-5 secs. It dosnt cut out all the time, but I'd say 85% of the time it does. I have rechecked some fuses and wires and havnt found anything out of the usual.
Setup is:
JDM d15b vtec @ 5-10 psi with T3 turbo, DSM 450cc injectors, P28 ECU with Uberdata running BBKA's map.
Vid of the cutting out/studdering:

Any Ideas on what the problem could be??!

Which grounds should I check? I have my battery relocated to the trunk and the power and ground wire are find back there. And no, it hasnt done it when i hit a pot hole or anything. Also i just replaced the plugs (gapped to .032), cap and rotor cuz i thought it might have been an ignition problem.
Hmm. It's probably not a loose connector then. Unfortunatly, I've never installed an AVCR, so I'm not sure what's involved in the wiring.
I'd think if the ECU lost power, your CEL light would come on and do that 6-second cycle like when you start the car up.
And it doesn't do it switching between any other gears, and it doesn't do it if you rev the crap out of the engine in neutral?

It dosnt do it of i shift quickly to any other gear, just 1st-2nd, and also is fine if i rev the crap out of it in neutral or even in any gear. Its like the shock from shifting 1st - 2nd is messing something up.

possibly in the program.....
find out where you drop from 1st to 2nd.....
then look at your mapping for that area....
try shifting 500 rpms sooner and see if it does it then.....or at any rmp....
if it doesn't studder then it is probably in the mapping...

well i tried it with the new plug wires and i tried shifting early and it still does it.. I dont know what the F#$^ to do... Its like im hitting a rev limiter as soon as i shift into 2nd..
Could a large boost leak be causing it? Cuz I was checking everything out and just found that one of my intercooler couplers was ripped in half. I was still getting 10psi but it did seem kinda slow going from 6-10psi..
