I have read along the way and in searches of a special, rare non-vtec LS/B20 head(PR8Y, I think) where it supposedly has ports equivalent to that on a B16 head and 34mm valves (just like a B16 head) instead of 31mm. If this is true what years/models did this head come on? I want to know a lil more on this head!

good luck, i dont think anyone has figured out what model year they come on.. they are super rare though so if you do find one cinsider yourself super lucky.

Thats what it seems like b/c no one knows what they came off of! I want to know so I can get my hands on one! Someone has to know though b/c I has ran across many mentions of this head in different threads!

the head size on stock valves on b-vtec heads are 33mm on the intake and 28mm on the exhaust valves

 

you mean the P8R head

it came on some JDM b20b's

its hit and miss.. I bleive its the same general head as a b18C, not a b16

Actually 33.5mm I believe, but who cares!

 

Standard B16A/B18C valves are 33mm intake, 33.5mm are the 1/2mm oversize.

i thought JDM b20's were all b20z's, i thought b20b was a USDM only engine.
