ok i found this guy in my area looking to get rid of his 98 GSR motor and tranny for dirt cheap w/ 40,000miles. im really intrested in getting it but i guess im looking for your guys opinons (worth the work and money) will it fit nicely in a 97 civic bay, and should there be things that i should look for when i go to see the motor and tranny. im going to get the vin# and make sure its not stolen, because the price seems to good to be true.... so let me know what u think

it'll fit fine with the right mounts (a couple from a 99-00 Si). Wiring should be easy (relatively). It's basically a bolt on.

 

thanx for the info.... if anyone has any pics or home sites (swap pics) of a B18c in a 6th gen civic that would be great... im going to look at it this weekend and we'll see what happens.......
