HPDE - October 30/31, Mid-Ohio. (Come on Bears fans, it's not that far!)
http://www.buckeyebmwcca.org/
October Driver School Needs U!
(Or, Maybe U need the October school!)
Lots of openings left...
Mid-Ohio October 30-31, 2004
I'm going BMW hunting. Anyone with me?
$40 to become a BMWCCA member if you're not already. (looks like the price changed).
If you are a member, it's 13.50 prorated for the year of your membership. So if your membership expired in 6 months, you can get a 6 mo. Buckeye membership for $6.75. 1-800-878-9292 will hook you up with the dual-chapter membership.
lutesje@worldnet.att.net -- Elizabeth Lutes is the event chairperson for the Mid-Ohio school. She says "We still have plenty of room."
I'm going to mail in the registration tomorrow and call BMWCCA about the dual (triple?) region membership.
I'll also posted on T-I.net, looks like there was initial interest from cheezthis and midwesta. A convoy of integras is always fun.

Prolly not, since it's a school and not just lapping days. They want you to be there both days typically.

You're so helpful. And yet, you make it sound so damn easy.... Is that on purpose
I just added Buckeye region as my 3rd (Windy City + Badger). Sick. Anyhow, yeah I'm pretty much committed now! Just gotta write the check and mail it tomorrow.
I also ordered new brakes, Cobalt Spec VR for the front, and some more Motul RBF 600. I'll take off those darn brake dust shields on the back of the front brakes too. Maybe I can get away without a rotor/caliper upgrade!

Sweet dude. Shoot Elizabeth Lutes an email ASAP to confirm there's space. She's the event coordinator.

not more than 3 hours. That is of course assuming you're talking about Miami of Ohio and not florida, in which case you've got a long drive. My sister graduated from Miami of Ohio

Yeah I'm going to give her a call tomorrow. I happen to be friends with the guy who is the race steward from almost all the eastcoast BMWCCA events, so he gave me her number
Cool, what run group are you usually in? I'll be intermediate again, I presume. This is my 7th HPDE, if I count correctly.
I've never run with Buckeye before, do they have any unusual rules, like no R-Compound tires for certain classes, etc?
-Chris
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast for it is a human number, its number is bee eighteen cee five.

I've never actually run with BMWCCA so I have no idea on what their rules are. I usually run with PCA. I'd be in intermediate I beleive. This will be my 5th event and I've been in intermediate for the past 4.
bee eighteen cee five will unleash its merciless wrath in the valley of thunder
