Default was bored, played with cluster a bit

well i got ******* bored today, so i decided to paint the needles on my cluster orange. Why you ask? honestly... I have no clue why. Just felt like being a little different.

Just Finished up

night time with amber bulbs in cluster too. Not much difference. But oh well. Remember, i was bored.

I did the same thing so that my guages would match my autometer sportcomp's. I used the same neon orange as autometer though.

You just replace the itty bitty bulbs that are plugged into the clusters main board.

I did something like that but instead I used red celophane behind the cluster because I was being cheap. It turned out just like yours though. Nice job

i did the same thing but replaced the top lights with a mini neon black light so the needles glow at night. You have to use flourescent orange paint for them to be bright under a black light.

Yeah but if you want the amber look, then you replace them.

You have to take out your cluster take out the liitle bulbs... i bought some clear orange paint and dipped the bulbs in the paint. it turned out pretty good, i need to do two of them agian but other than that it looks really good, its pretty cheap too. better than spending 140 buck on a used JDM cluster.

You can get the paint at your local hobby shop (model place). The only brand I have seen is Tamiya clear orange.
