Default oil pressure problem

since noone in the EG forum knows anything
i figured i would post it here
using the front oil galley for readings, the one in front of the head.... above the header
oil pressure at idle
2-3psi
oil pressure at 3k rpms
10
oil pressure above 5k RPMS
25

the gauge im using is an autometer electronic oil pressure gauge... all connections are GOOD

things ive done already
checked for the dowel pin and o-ring in the center of the head
replaced the oil pan and pickup used all new gaskets
checked for any other leaks on the motor
used 3 different ECU's..... stock p30, chipped p28 and current chipped p30!!
replaced the vtec solinod assembly with 2 known working ones

IM stumped!! any info would help

im thinking it might be the oil pump.... but if it was bad i wouldnt have any oil pressure.... any help would be apperciated!

AND YES THERE IS OIL IN IT!

The oil pressure at that point is going to be lower than behind the block, at the oil sender (warning light). I would move it and you should see different numbers.

since you'll be dropping the oil pan, why don't you take one of the main caps off. take a look at the bearing, and that will take care of that. i did what you're about to do on my friend's engine, it was dissapointing to see that the new pump didn't change a thing. if i had checked the bearings first, i wouldn't had spendt that time chageing the pump! call your local acura dealer, and see if the pump is in stock. if it is check the bearing, and if that's good have a buddy give you a ride to get the pupm! good luck
