NGK Spark PLUGs??
HEy guys I need help.. First of all I went to the auto parts store and ask for NGK spark plugs for Type R.. There are two different kinds of NGK are V Power and Indrium Spark Plugs.. Anyhow V power spark plugs are not Platinum.. Should I have to buy platinum or not? Sorry about my english and Im trying my best..
If I dont get the spark plugs which is no platinum, is it going to hurt the motor? Please help me...

I found !
Install note: The iridium center electrode is very thin. Unlike a conventional plug, you cannot gap the plug by sandwiching a gap tool between the electrode and the ground strap, then pushing on the ground strap. The hard electrode will dig into the gap tool, and when you remove the gap tool, you'll break the electrode. Instead, adjust the ground strap by tapping it on a hard surface, or by pulling it gently with a tool; then measure the gap using your gap tool.

Actually, the part # is PFR6G-11.
Also, does anyone know of a cheaper place to buy these? Through Acura they're $14 each.

Do you think i lost HP with a 0.8mm gap ?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I discovered HKS iridiums in my car also (put in by last owner) I had them in for almost 8 months before i checked the gap and found it to be 0.8mm and theyre heat range 8 (S40i is the part number) I swapped them for Denso iridiums with 1.1mm gap and found absolutely no difference whatsoever (well none that the seat of my pants can detect. I plan on gapping them to about 1.0mm and i figured i'd have to get fine needle nose pliers and pry the top gently away from the electrode till its 1mm wide.
