Default Putting HID for the high beams too.

I want to put an HID kit in place of my highbeams. Is that a good idea?

That's just a waste of money, dont you think?
HID headlights already provide brighter and longer range of vision. I would just get those hid imitation bulbs for the high beams so it will have the same color as the HID, but that's it.
Besides, nobody uses highbeam as frequently as the headlights.
Surely you can use the 400~500 bucks else where.
Just my 2cents.

Don't waste your money on the highbeams. With HIDs for the lows you are probably not gonna wanna use your highs with them anyway. My boy has the 6000k Philips, and dammmmmn.. They are bright! (Upgrade your bulbs to 6000k for $500)

I'd do it if it was one of the last mods I wanted to do to my car, just for the sake of completeness.

But until then blow the cash on something else...
