anyone know if there's a mugen head valve cover for the dohc zc motor? or any head valve cover?

 

Never seen one in my 10 years of hondaing.

 

No I think MUGEN only made the B-Series DOHC valve covers and the D-Series SOHC covers. I've never seen a ZC D-Series DOHC one, but those Mugen guys are crazy and the ZC was a widely used engine, even though it was the odd-man-out.

You find one tell me, hehe.

 

one would be hot though, rare

 

If you could find one, be prepared to spend money out the **** hole for it

 

Even if someone could find a pic of it (if it existed)... I bet someone could make a mint with replicas. Hell, i'd buy one.

 

Check ebay, I am sure there is a fake one out there.

 

lol you guys would kill for the origional japan issued CRX/ civic EF mugen performance book. There is a mugen turbo kit for the ZC, performance head, valve cover, everything you could imagine. I just don't have a camera so i can't take any pics

But it looks almost just like the B series one.

dont think mugen made sohc valve covers.......those are FAKES!

 

yes they made a real sohc cover....

 

my magazine doesn't have any SOHC valve covers...its all B and ZC stuff

 

theres a pic on here sumwhere..... of the sohc mugen motor sumone find it..
btw u have a mag w/ mugen zc parts...i wanna see..

It's real, but I highly doubt more than a handful were ever made. And they weren't really offered to the public, basically only King Motorsports got them for their GT3 engines (and that refers to the road race class, not the game).

Oh agreed on that, I was on there yesterday and it was pretty sad what was being passed off. Makes me want to get an vinyl sticker machine, embroider, etc. and make some cash. Some are just plain old scam/fakes, but the ones that are trying to play off the name don't even bother saying "Mugen style" anymore.

 

 

hey man send me a link for that site or a way to get a mugen book i have a dohc zc and i would like to see what kinda stuff they got if i got to pay for it let me know where u go to get one.thanks for any help on this u can be

 

mugen also made a sohc for the 86 crx si so its possible they made it for the d16a1 integra zc look alike so maybe just maybe they made one for the EF7 cause there is a ef7 mugen kit duno if they made a valve cover for it though i may look for the other sohc mugen valve cover

 

i borrowed a webcam and the software so i'm gonna take a few pics if i can get them in decent quality then someone will have to put them up

 

ok well i looked through my magazine and they are some small pics. So taking a picture of a picture is out of the question. But kinda picture a B16 valve cover but make it smooth and put some japo writing on it and its black

yeah thats the DOHC ZC one i saw....its pretty. Is it yours????? and how in this holy world did you find it?

BTW if you ever find the mugen turbo kit for the ZC, i want/need it to complete my simple life.

and that one at the bottom of the pic is a 1st generation vavle cover isn't it?

 

yeh thats the 1st gen one i spoke of went along with a Mugen Turbo Kit yes thats correct mugen turbokit for the first gen rex and there was no intercooler just bolt on turbo with manifold and piping pretty cool lil thing...and BTW thats not a zc cover thats a B seires valve cover there buddy
