Default LIL HELP anyone??? [ a/c problem ]

My ac blows air, yah that's all... lol
i know theres something wrong because it just blows air....
not cold air
not hot air
... just air....
all of my family's cars do that after a while when we buy cars, and when i get my del sol i get the feeling that the ac wont work since the car is used

my auto shop teacher had a machine taht flushes out the refriderant and lets u put new stuff in there....
i think that might be my problem but im not sure

any ideas on whats wrong and how to fix? (i need easy cheap solutions pls but any is helpful)
when its cold it blows cold air, when its hot it blows hot air, damn it dont do much more than a fan

Sounds like the refrigerant needs to be refilled. If that doesnt work than there could be a problem with the a/c condenser itself.

You might need your a/c recharged, but your saying you cant get it to blow hot air either? Even when you turn the heater controls to hot?
If that is the case, then the cable that runs from your climate controls down to the inlet of your heater core might be broken.
Have someone change the heater controls from hot to cold while you look at the heater core inlet to see if the valve is being moved.(the heater core inlet is on the firewall(in the engine bay) right next to your charcoal canister. A coolant hose runs to it and you will see a little arm with a cable on it.)
