How much power can a ITR Tranny S80 handle? With stock driveshafts.

 

195hp?

 

How hard are you driving it?? ..

 

iv been told 400HP
is that true?

you start having trouble with your transmission when you approach 600-700 whp.

Are you kidding me? I dont think that the stock differensial can handle that much torqe.
I will be around 300whp.

 

Tranny is one of the last things people upgrade...I have a friend running over 300 whp on the stock tranny...

 

i have seen 550 whp on stock ITR tranny daily driven hard but they will not last that long about 1 summer
