I need to know what tools I need to change the front driver side brake hose.
An accident in front of me caused me to slam on my brakes this morning on my way to work and my front driver side brake hose busted. So I used my E-brake the rest of the way.
SOMEONE HELP ME GET HOME FROM WORK!!!

yes. get a FLARED nut wrench. dont go cheap either. i bought one at Kragen autoparts and i stripped one of my brake line nuts. then i bought a craftsman one, and it worked perfectly fine.

Replace the brake line!
1. Jack car, remove wheel
2. Use a 10mm flare nut, might also need an adjustable wrench to hold the softline side.
3. Use pliers to get the little metal flap off.
4. Remove soft line from caliper, (14mm???)
5. Install new line and reverse the steps.

flare nut wrench is a must remember!!!
You will strip the nut if you use something else.
then you will need to bleed your brakes, search on how to do this. Also when you work with brake lines, valves and fittings watch out for them because they are easy to mess up.

Dont forget to get more brake fluid and bleed'em when you're done.
