would a Vafc be beneficial to a d16y8
just like the topic says. It would have i/h/e and a cam if i can find one. If I take it to get tuned on the dyno what would be the most realistic gains

With your mods, the gain will be minimal. But will still be better than not have the VAFC. With more wild mods, then the gains will be better since you can tune it with the VAFC. A magazine did a review on it. Well to make a long story short, the guy was running a turbo and with the VAFC he got 30+ more HP with just tuning. So it's definitely worth it. It's just that the more you have the more it will work. But tuning is the key!
