question about FAL lexan windows...
i heard they are retain factory curvature of the window and install in just like ur factory glass...does this mean they will be weather proofed like ur factory glass also...and do u not need the rivits?.....i wanna run these on the street so do u think silicon would be sufficient in weather proofing them or the black windshield glue?that?...TIA

ehh your gonna need the rivots and i am not sure how they handle weather but hey do it silicon should help...polycarbonate is some dope *** stuff...
hmmm...funny thing is in the summit catalog they say "...the windows are scratch-resistant and install just like your factory glass." i mean they are 500 bucks...hmmm maybe i shoudl just cut my own and rivit them....would be hella cheaper...
They should fit in just like stock, the only thing that might throw off the whole "like stock" installation is the thickness of the fal window. So you actually may need to rivet it in. They are somewhat scratch resistant but they can be buffed out. They might be worth a try, the stock windows are pretty damn heavy. If not just get a large sheet of lexan and do it yourself. Or you could do the ghetto fabulous way and get some plexiglass. hehe.
they fit like stock, thats the whole reason they are so expensive. they are weatherproff b/c they fit just like a stock window.....
