Default Horsepower and camshafts for 92-95 civic

I have a 94 civic coupe with i/h/e. Would it give me a good amount more horsepower to add cams? (should i get cam gear and cam shaft?) Or would another simple mod be better?

This is the hardest question to get an answer to. People always reply saying they have a zex 59300 cam, felt a good increase, blah blah. I have yet to see a post where someone actually dynoed a NA SOHC with a cam. Yes, I've searched.
