ZC/VTEC???

Default ZC/VTEC???

is it possible to put a VTEC head on a ZC block...was just curious cuz my friend has a ZC swapin their rex and a ist gen b16 head w/blown block and since it is the 1.6 DOHC will the ist gen B16 head fit on it or no..has this ever been done???

ZC DOHC no

you can put a SOHC vtec head on a SHOC vtec block

twin cam zc is fine dont worry bout vtec

i know ZC is fine..but VTEC on top woud be even better...i was just wonderin if it was possible

D-series =/= B-series, the twain shall never meet! NO vtec head will fit on a dohc zc block, but most d-series vtec heads will work on most 88+ d-series non-vtec blocks.
