Re: zc engine (D16Z6racing)
i had a zc and i tried to do the same thing but it won't fit b/c the zc comes from the 89 integra or the jdm crx and they didn't have a vtec head that fit that year..but taht's that yr so i dont kno about the newer ones if there is one..in my opinion..depending on what car u have..just spend the xtra $$ and get someone more expandable..my two cents

Re: zc engine (Powered by Rowena Galam)
I asked a friend about this yesterday...
Same block as any d series...teh head is diff, and to put on a vtec head the head bolts need to be relocated...this is if your talkign about the DOHC ZC....
I believe teh SOHC is vtec and the swap on the the SOHC non vtec if any, is a simple mini me setop with vtec head...
