Default 05 RSX Question

I'm going to be doing a 5 lug conversion on my 02 EP and i want to get a set of 05 RSX rims...

Does anyone have any idea how much the 05 RSX 17"s would go for?

How long would i be waiting for poeple to start selling the stock rims for their 05's??

Thanks

I wanted the new 17 inch silver wheels that come stock on the RSX Type S also, but I got quoted 561 a piece without tires from a local Acura dealer

That's some Bull****....i could get them discounted through honda but that's still pricey... maybe i could get lucky and find'em in a few of months. Lol, i still have to worry about getting my motor back together... but if the right price came up i'd buy a set of Type-s rims soon!!!

you would be surprised...
mommy and daddy bought junior a 05 Acura RSX Type-S for his birthday...Goes out and gets drunk with his friends and totals his new car that he didn't buy...

...it could happen

those are my rims

....also, you can get anything off of ebay...just give it time

Edited for a change of wording

I work for an Acura dealer, we had 2 sets of 05 Type-S wheels snagged.

They are almost $500/ea and were on backorder. So we got two sets of A-Spec wheels for less than 1/2 the cost and next day.

Blue or Orange looks HOT with the multispoke.

i don't know if you care or not but the a-spec (10-spoke) and the '05 type-s wheels weigh 21 lbs. don't get me wrong, they both look great (especially the '05 type-s wheels) and you can remain "factory looking" but if you're going to spend that kind of money, there aftermarket wheels that are lighter which will enhance instead of be a detriment to performance.

HP Racing makes a wheel which is very similar to the 2005 stock RSX wheel, and they also make it in staggered, so you can have one that shows off a sort of lip to it.

I'm planning on getting the wheel in 19 inch for my RSX. I hope it looks tasty.
