are u sure cuz i just bolted it up, its from a 2001 Type-R, and it fits perfect, and insted of 2 turns from steering its now 1.5, so its close ratio....its nice, + sway bar, hmm, hmmm good...

even if it does fit, its a pretty big waste of time and money unless you got the hypeR front clip and are swapping the engine in too.

Bah, can you tell me why this is? I believe the ITR has a tighter steering rack... which equals quicker turning. Now why is this a waste?

Just four hours before, you were just asking what you needed to bolt it up? Also, as far as the steering wheel only turning 1.5 turns instead of 2, I think you mean it short ratio. It can't be close ratio. Close ratio to what? There's no other gear it switches to.

A couple years ago I've found they sold something like steering rods (I don't know the correct name) in a set of two. They were meant for Civics. It allowed them to have a more tighter and more precise steering as equal to the Integ's if not better. The price and labor on those were much less than replacing the entire steering rack and pinion.

Any Integ's steering rack is good for straight-away's, but for anything like Auto-X, I'd keep the Civic's steering rack for its better turning radius.
