Default Tire choices

I have narrowed my tire choices down to a few brands. I like the Toyo proxis TS-1, and the fairy new or if that, BF GOODwench G force sport. 195 55 15 size. Bad experience with the khumos. Bridgestone S0-3s. And if all else fails, <cringing on the price> the original Re -010s.

I have had the TS1s and have been impressed with them, but just would like to know if anyone has or experienced the G force sport tires, the S0-3s on their Rs. I already know that the Re-010s are the schnizle but that is the last draw tire I will get if I cant make a decision. Any comments welcome. Thanks

How did you manage to narrow it down to these 2 tires?

Lol, personal choice I guess. In need of 4 new tires soon. Had the proxis's before, and saw the G force sports. Dont really care for the axenis, or the ES 1000 or khumos. Price wise, not a factor.

Why don't you care for the main 3? I would definitely suggest something other than those 2 choices. money not a factor I think I would get the Bridgestone S03.

If money were a factor I would get the Yokohama ES100 or Kumho MX. Both of those tires grip more than you will use on the street. If they are double duty tires the Kumhos can hang with the best of them.

i dunno how your weather is the whole year but in germany we need tires that are good in dry condition and also in rainy. cos it rains quite much. not that much like in uk.... but enought that we cant drive semi slicks or so.

i m impressed also by the toyo t1-s in dry condition. very good grip, but in rain you can pull it away. **** tyre then... but the usage here. if i had them, just 10000 km and they are blanked.... that was on a peugeot 206 diesel with 160 ps and 360 nm.... front wheel drive

the next tire i ve choosen for that - now - sold 206 was kuhmo ecsta. nearly same grip as toyo in dry but much better in wet condition. i ordered that tire in 205-40-16 for my itr also. just awaitin my jdm rims..... then i can tell you how they are on the itr....

goodrigde hmm is a normal tire. not really good not really bad.

i you just want to choose from that 2 tyres, i would take the toyo.....

I'd have to suggest the S03's since that choice was added.

The Kumho ASX is more of an all season tire. It woudl hardly compare to his other choices. The Kumho MX will be the tire to fit into his options

I had the T1-S and thought it was marginal at BEST in the dry. The Kumho MX or Yoko ES100 grip waaaaaaaay better, and are cheaper to boot.

Yoko ES100 are decent for the price but go for the RE010 if you can afford it.
