Default hasport header anyone?

I just wondered if anyone else has tried out this header yet? I have one coming.

I chose the hasport b/c of the price i got for it, and that it will be a bolt on affair and not weld in a bung. I wanted a ss header for bling, but this will do.

ground clearance was important, not all out high rpm powa!
I'll let those who care know how it goes on. I will dyno later, i'm broke for now.

I stopped by hasport the other day to pick up my ac bracket and I asked em about the header and apparently they haven't gotten around to dynoing it yet but it looks like an awesome piece, quality is (which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who has hasport stuff). It's no SMSP or DTR but it will surely flow better then stock and I'd be willing to bet that it out powers some of the DC/Generic/etc's

ah, i miss the hasport a/c bracket. I went thru two of them due to cracking, then a bolt hole inside the block stripped out so I just chunked all my a/c stuff and sold the bracket.

I think they were more concerned w/ clearance issues, if you want more power hack your crossmember or buy an aftermarket, get a custom header and have a bung welded, or just bitch about it...

The header came in today. Looks very nice. I stole a digi. cam from someone on the hall of the dorm to snap some pics of it and my jdm trash civic.

It'll keep me happy. The quality looks good, but this is my first header so I don't have anything to judge it with. I got it to make the civic feel a lil quicker, or smoother, and to keep ground clearance.

ewww, dang, only 2"

Now I don't know all the theory's on what size it should be, but 2.25" seems to be the norm for collectors. I'll still keep my head up on it though.

Well I take that back. Tubing is two inches the whole way, and I'm not no high hp b series.

$300 shipped new. A decent price. Of course you could keep a/c with this. I wouldn't see why not since I plan to in the future re-install all new a/c system.

(but that will be in a long time)

about 5% makes me think of resellin it, but the other 95% says get rid of the nasty manifold.
