Default CD PLAYER WONT POWER ON?????

so i installed a new cd player in my car today, all connections and wires where right, everything was connected even changed out the fuse...problem is the cd wont turn on;......any ideas?

use volt meter to test your red and yellow wires as well as your ground. There is usually two fuses, one inside the car and one under neath the hood.

you probably blew a fuse... check the fuse box down by your drivers kick panel, see if your cig. lighter works, if not, change out your ACC fuse...

I was "messing around" the other day and I had my subs outta the car. I wanted to see how my 6x9's would sound w/ a amp on them. I ran a pos. and a neg. wire to my 6x9's and I heard a loud noise and all of the sudden nothing. My whole system went off. Well I unhooked them and tried to turn the damn cd player on and nothing. I did smell like burnt wiring. smelled like the cd player. If anybody has any info. please let me know.

Probably blew the CD player.

I fucked up my Pioneer DEH-6400 when my JL blew, and sent some type of signal to the amp which fired to the radio, which blew the RCA jacks and the speaker outputs on the deck.... sucks
Now I have a deck that looks pretty and has no sound... &gt;

I checked fuses both under the hood and on the cd player was blown. I replaced them and the cd plyer would somke and blow the fuse again. probably blown. Im thinking about getting the dehp960mp
