I have a friend that is selling me a b16a first generation motor, and after hours of research im thinking of goin towards LS/VTEC, but i wanna know if i would make less power out of a first generation head than a 2nd generation b16a head.
I would really like to know so I can buy the engine., And one more thing can i still use my 92 b18a distributor on the b16 head. Thanks for the help in advance.

you can use the dizzy, just have to cut a leg off. as for the head..i doubt that it would make that much of a difference...the hp is 10 different between the gens *i think*...may not even be a difference. If there is, you could swap some ITR cams and I be that would make up for it!
