AN-R or Bisimoto header, straightpipe with O2 bung welded in, double-resonated custom setup with a Summit Turbo muffler (for big American cars, that's right). My brother has a custom exhaust with the Summit Turbo and it's really quiet. I love driving his car (B18C1 swap with boltons).

A friend of mine has J-spec 4-1 Headers into a Thermal R&D cat back and it sounds great. Its not the highest flow rate you can get but atleast it dosent sound like a wet fart.
