im debating on what to get, it is going to be either the SAFC or Hondata... i still need to research the two... what do you recommend?

Cool... It's good to see someone with an H23a1 that doesn't have a gazillion dollars invested into their motor posting some dyno results. Kudos. Keep going man, keep going!-You listed that you have an IM heat sheild... What exactly do you mean? Is it a gasket or what? Pictures?

normaly i have the timing set at 13 degrees cause of nitrous... but i forgot to advance the timing for the the dyno run
... basically advancing the timing = more hp, to a certain point

oh how do u adjust it, by the dist, or do u have any cam gears. u must have a timing gun?

Awesome numbers for retarded timing, relatively low compression, and stage one cams untuned. Holy crap! Now you need to tune it and spray and you can pull some awesome times! Congrats.

If you are OBD-I then you can adjust ignition timing by rotating the distributor. Use a timing gun and find the marker on the flywheel (I added a dot of White-Out on the flywheel marker to make it more obvious), and adjust timing. Stock is 15° +/- 2° at idle. I have mine set to 17° at idle, so it's still within spec, but I benefit from the 2° advance.

162? The dyno shows peak hp around 145 or so, or is that an old dyno and one of the dead links is your recent one?
