Default See if you EF guys can answer this..

I have a LS/VTEC swap going into my EF, and I am using saturated injectors. Is there a wiring guide you can recommend for me to wire up my motor? Thanks.

why not just use the peak and hold injectors with your stock resistor box

I don't have a resistor box and nobody makes peak and hold injectors big enough for my setup. Anyone else?

What size injectors do you need?
Lots of people use the DSM injectors for turbo and your LS/VTEC needs more than that?

What wirign do need help with?
Only the injectors or what?

add the resistor box, use a D series under-hood harness. I did that on 720cc injectors.

What you meant to say was "I have these saturated injectors already for my setup but just need to know how to wire them"

OKAY, then how do I wire up saturated injectors?

i thought all you had to do was connect all the wires going to the resistor box...in essence just remove the extra resistance from the wiring (the saturated injectors are higher resistance - no need for the box).

ive never done this, so i never really paid attention to the 50 posts ive seen about how to do it. theres probably more to it than this...

This is what I did if my memory serves me correct. There should be a green plug connected to the resistor box. 4 wires come from the injectors to the box. there should also be a wire running to the main relay. So there's a total of 5 wires running to the relay box. What you want to do is sever all 5 wires and solder them together, then wrap it with electrical tape. You're done and you can use saturated injectors now. If you're using your original EF wire harness you may need to change the injector clips to fit the saturated injectors.

Basically, your injectors have two wires. 1 coming from the main relay (the 12 volt signal) then 1 goes to the ECU. when the ECU wants the injectors to spray, then it grounds the wire to complete the circuit, and activates the solenoid in the injector to allow it to spray. With peak and hold, they need the resistor box to lower the 12volt signal. when going to saturated, they can handle the 12volt signal, so you just solder all 5 wires together and call it a day.

simply cut all the wires going to your resistor box, and solder them all together.

coudln't you just remove the resistor box and run the power to the injectors.

Thats exactly what severing all 5 wires and soldering them together would do.

yep take the 5 wires and connect them together. If you have a xtra 5 pin square plug can make a nice little jumper plug or just cut and solder or crimp. Generally peak/hold (low impedence) have quite a bit large fuel delivery

oh, you meant solder the power to all the injector wires, pretty much bypassing the inj. resistor, but then you can take that bad boy out, its unnecessary after that.

exactly, once you solder all the wires together, you can remove the resistor box from the car.
