Default JDM ITR Header Question

Just picked one up used and it did NOT include gaskets.

What donut gasket do I need to purchase? Is there a specific size or application to get? Do I have to measure it and scour application guides looking for a size that fits?

This will be connecting to an OE GSR system (Temporarily).

Thanks!

You need the S2000 header gasket, it's 2.5".

Your going to need a cat w/ 2.5" inlet to bolt it up though.

i think you can get one from an Accord V6 or S2000.

and just like Chris93Si said.. your going to need a cat or *test pipe* with a 2.5" collector flange. Im using a straight test pipe i made myself. went and got 18" of 2.5" tubing from a muffler shop and had him flare one end to fit the donut gaskit. cost me $8.

then i got a 2 bolt flange and a 3 bolt flange for the exhaust side. Chop the piping down to size, slide the 2 bolt flange on, and then weld the 3 bolt flange onto the end. shouldnt cost more than $50 if u have the muffler shop make it for you. that including parts and welding. i got it welded by a friend for free.99

only trouble is finding a shop to do it.

You could contact SMS and get a nice 2.5" Carsound high flow made, but i think its upwards of $175.

s2000 gasket fits for sure. No idea on Accord V6.

Stock gsr cat flange that originally fit over the stock donut gasket might not make it - either need a bigger flange (and longer bolts) or a new cat.
