EF header fitament
Sorry for the newbness-Ive been lookin for headers and found some i liked until it was brought to my attention most 4-1 headers wont clear the front crossmember on a ef. What kind of header options do i have open to clear the front crossmember with a b16a?

according to their website you will have no issue with the an-r headers and clearance...

I had 4-1 DC before and that was a mistake, took me forever to install it. Get the CM welded after a little modification and install it back. It only took me 15 mins to crush the bottom 2 pipes.
With most EF the clearance is so minimal that its not a good idea for it will mess up the bottom two pipes.
Stick with the traditional 4-2-1 and you'll be safer.
IMO
The AN-R header is pretty awesome but if you have A/C then that is out of the question. Seen that sucker in person and it's a work of art, don't seem to have any clearance issues w/o the A/C.

i'd go for that and the two piece install makes it a snap, well you still probably need to take off the x member to install, just no hacking/banging

Get an aftermarket crossmember or traction bar system whatever they call them. I have a custom one and theres tons of room compared to a stock crossmember car.
Im sure it will help your 60's at the track too
