OBD-0 to OBD-1 for aem ems
I am coverting to obd1 to use the aem but have a question about the injector clips I am doing mpfi conversion also do I even need the resistor box now that i am going obd1 with blown90hatch harness and aem all feedback is appreciated
i believe OBD1 fuel injectors are a different impeadence than OBD0 and don't need a resister box to step it down
don't quote me on this, wait for someone else to either agree or flame me hehe

Impedance is basically the same as saying resistance.
The OBD-0 injectors are low impedance and the OBD-1 are high.
You need the resistor box to raise the impedance/resistance up on the OBD-0.
The OBD-1 basically have the high resistance built in... no need for a resistor box.

If you use OBD-0 injectors you use the resistor box.
If you go with OBD-1 injectors you don't.

ok so the easist way to do this is to just wire the injectors to the ecu clips were they would be on an si model and just not even put the resister box in.....and just use the injector clips I got with my rc's
