I would like to buy the vafc2 but im sort of scared to soder stuff into my ecu I heard of a wiring harness that you could buy so you can just plug it right in with no sodering.

Problem is i dont know which one i need on the chart and i dont know if its a good buy.

 

i figured that its an additional 150$ which is NOT wroth it

 

if you think that not having to solder into your ecu harness is worth $160 then yes get it. personally i solder all the time so its no big deal to me. BUT i still would have bought one of these had i known about them. just less hassle, and converting back to stock is MUCH easier.

 

thats what im thinkin...if it ever has to come out then it wont be a pain in the ***.
But does anyone know which one of those i need?
There is an application chart link in there but i dont know which one i would need.

 

there's a guy at PO.com that makes VAFC harnesses. they're about that much, and i used his harness to install my vafc and it was so damn easy i'm glad, since i'm ditching the VAFC for somethin else and don't have to make a bird's nest out of my stock harness.

they're definitely worth it.

 

thanks for the info man... another question is the vafc2 vehicle specific or are they all the same? I was looking at this one but was confused by the title. Think its legit?
