Default Need help with Vafc after i messed with it!!!ASAP

well after i took it to a "pro" who tuned it for me i got some extra mods :test pipe flywheel, ITR im & tb. so i decided to play with it a lil an rich it out a lil. well after a lil messing around i notice that my speedometer stoped working and got a code 17 for that so i guess i took that sensor. and now all of a sudden after the speedomoter went my a/f autometer guage went crazy and stays all the way at rich now??? i was like WTF...so i decided to put everything on the vafc at 0 and the vtec xover back to stock settings till i get to a dyno. my question is was everything set at 0 when i first installed it ? and could the a/f reading be messed up from the speedometer sensor going bad?? sorry for how long this was..!! thanks for advice and comments in advance!

The speedometer sensor is not affected by the vafc in any way. Probably your sensor just went bad, or the mechanic who installed your parts didnt snap the plug for it all the way back in (probably it). I'm not positive but a missing speed sensor might throw your ecu into safe mode, which WOULD make it run full rich. Check the speed sensor plug and go from there.

Also, in answer to your other question YES the vafc comes with everything set at '0' from the factory.
