Default Shocks

I just put on coilovers and my ride is about 2" in front and about 1.8" in the back, but every dip i hit, it makes a hard thump and loud sratch, i know it messing up my stock shocks. What shocks should i get to keep it from hitting hard? the KYB or the Tokico?

I saw some adjustable KYB shocks. Do you have those? What number to you set it on between 1-8 if you do have these?

i suggest cutting the bumpstops also if you do not have the money to invest in good shocks/struts. I would go with Koni Yellows when you do decide to purchase them.

I have had both the Koni's and the KYB's. I liked them both. The kyb's rode pretty damn good. I have the Koni's now, and love them. I would recommend the Koni's over the KYB's, but both are nice.

Can't go wrong with Konis or KYBs. KYBs are a budget shock... great shocks, but not rebuildable. I'm partial to Bilsteins which are awesome on the road and just good on the track. A Koni or Bilstein will be the last shock you ever buy for a particular car.

How much would a rebuild run on the Koni? I purchased all four of my AGX for $350

I can't remember what Truechoice quoted me for a rebuild but I think it is about $100 a shock

That's pretty crazy 'cause isn't that about what the shocks cost? Well I guess they cost around $120~130, and well we always gotta pay for custom stuff.
