do i need to jack up the car to install front strut bar?

^ what the title says .. or is it better to jack it up. ill be installing the t/cls front strut bar.

I don't think so. I believe a front strut bar connects the top of the two shock towers together. Correct me if I'm wrong.

ok, thanks. i was told if relives the pressure if the wheels are off the floor, but i didnt think it was necessary or a must.

it may not line up properly if you don't. but try it. if it doesn't fit, then jack it up and it should fit.

u want to becareful when jacking it up because you risk having the struts fall out of the upper mount hole because you need to unbolt the 3 bolts for the strut hats.
