OT: How do i clean my tranny casing?
clean inside the tran where the clutch goes. my tranny has been sitting in the garage for a year and it has some spiderwebs in it so i just wonder if i could use some water and maybe this steamer thing to clean inside and outside
thanks
thanks
Whats in it? What do you need a cleaner to clean? You should be able to use Engine bright in the bellhousing. Wipe it down with a clean shop rag. should be good as new!
meh. paper towels
i don't think it necessarily needs to be squeaky clean or anything. just make sure that there's nothing in there to actually get on the clutch assy.

yeah that thing contains water in it that's all
so basically i am going to use steam hot water to spray my tranny and inside as well (clutch housing) now my engine and tranny is apart and there are webs in it so i just want to spray it and make it real clean. can i do that?
thanks
